Keep it plugged in — always
Continuous recording uses power constantly, so a battery alone will not last a full day. Place the phone next to a power outlet and leave it on the charger permanently. Modern phones are designed to sit on a charger indefinitely, so this is safe for long-term use.
Reduce heat
Recording and charging both generate a little heat. To keep the phone cool and stable:
- Take the case off — a bare phone dissipates heat far better.
- Avoid direct sunlight and hot spots like on top of a router or radiator.
